An invitation to play
- Lay out two or three sheets of paper as spaces for collections.
- Invite your child to group the blocks by color. Let them decide where in-between shades belong.
- Count the pieces in each collection, touching each block once as you count. Compare which has more.

Arrange each collection from pale to deep, or small to large. There is more than one way to make it feel right.
