Set the scene
- Two or more translucent colored blocks
- A white surface beside a bright window
Works beautifully with: Acrylic blocks / James.
An invitation to play
- Place the blocks on a white surface in bright, indirect daylight. Notice the colors on the table.
- Overlap two different colors and look through them together. Move them apart, then overlap again.
- Invite your child to predict the next combination, then test it. Name what you notice together.
A LITTLE QUESTION TO OPEN THINGS UP
“What do you think will happen when these two colors meet?”
Let it grow
Create a color diary with crayons. Draw the two starting colors beside the new color you discovered.
Follow the age guidance on your product packaging. Use only age-appropriate pieces and supervise play. Keep small parts away from children under 3.
