Set the scene
- Wooden building blocks
- A piece of fabric or paper for a landscape
Works beautifully with: Laguna / Any building set.
An invitation to play
- Lay out a few blocks and invite your child to choose where the story will begin. A blue cloth might become the sea; a sheet of paper could be a town square.
- Build one place together: a house, a harbour, or a shop. Leave room for your child to change the plan.
- Ask who lives here and what happens next. Follow their ideas as the world grows.
A LITTLE QUESTION TO OPEN THINGS UP
“If we could visit your town, where would you take us first?”
Let it grow
Draw a simple map of the world you built. Add a route from one place to another and tell the story of the journey. Add peg people, magical gems or other open-ended toys you can find to create and build on the story.
Follow the age guidance on your product packaging. Use only age-appropriate pieces and supervise play. Keep small parts away from children under 3.
